It Is Winter, How Much Better It Would Be To Be Lying At The Beach

Bah humbug, winter has arrived. It is time to start freezing, try to keep the car from sliding along the road, and start getting in shape to shovel snow. This is what some people are saying. Others at this very moment of putting on the warmest coat, strapping the skis to the top of the car, and on their way to the slopes. Some of these people maybe experts headed to the black diamonds, while others prefer to stay on the bunny slope. Either way, they all have snow fever. Something that skiers should always keep in mind is safety on the slopes. Of course this starts by showing courtesy to younger, older, and less experienced skiers. Obviously this means courtesy should be shown to everyone. What some people are unaware of is that many resorts now require skiers to wear a <a href=’http://www.skiingequipmentworld.com’>ski helmet</a>. This is absolutely necessary in ensuring the safety of children. Certainly adults wearing helmets will be doing themselves a favor, while setting a good example as well. Who has ever heard of a person skiing in their pajamas? It is true people come down the hill in the craziest outfits. <a href=’http://www.weartosleep.com’>Sleepwear</a>, leather motorcycle gear, even people dressed like Santa clause or elves can all be seen coming down the hill on skis. Spring skiing is the most ridiculous, when you see people wearing bikinis. Anyone who has ever fallen down on ice or snow can imagine what these individuals look like after one fall. Yes indeed, winter time can be joyful to many folks. Sledding, building snowmen, ice sculptures, drinking cocoa by the fire, and so much more make this a winter carnival. Ah, but lying on the beach, under an umbrella, with a cool drink, what could be better? Kids playing Frisbee, and building sand castles. Just thinking about it makes one smell the salty ocean air, the fried clams, and the wonderful fragrance of cocoa butter. This is the place for the shorts and bikinis. Yes indeed, the good old summer time is the best. And now, back to reality, back to snow shovels and ice scrapers. Time to curl up by a warm fire. Time to dress the children in suffocatingly snug snowsuits and mittens. Maybe when the new baby is placed into the crib with it’s <a href=’http://www.designerbabybedding.biz/red-white-polka-dot-ladybug-baby-bedding-9-pc-crib-set’>ladybug baby bedding</a>, we can pretend that the ladybugs are arriving with the spring breeze. For now, the winter blahs go on.
